On June 12–13, 2026, Omnific brought the Digital Skills Prosperity Workshop (DSPW) to GOFAMINT Success Pavilion, Lagos, welcoming 30 young people for two days focused on one clear goal: helping participants take practical steps toward earning their first income in the digital economy.
Day One introduced participants to the breadth of opportunity within the digital economy — AI tools, content creation, personal branding, and practical ways to earn income online using nothing more than a smartphone. What stood out most wasn’t the technology itself, but the hunger to learn and the realisation, visible on people’s faces, that the digital economy isn’t reserved for a privileged few.
Day Two built on that foundation with a sharper focus on execution: how to package a skill, find clients, build an online presence, and convert digital literacy into an actual income stream. By the close of the workshop, participants who had walked in unsure of what was possible left with a clearer vision, a concrete plan, and genuine confidence that they could participate meaningfully in the digital economy.
Attendance for both days was strong, but Omnific Youth didn’t want completion to simply mean showing up. After the two-day workshop, participants were given a practical project and a deadline, a real test of whether they could apply what they’d learned, not just sit through it. Fifteen of the 30 participants (half the cohort) completed their project within the given timeframe and were confirmed as full graduates of the workshop.

Why Lagos: Hosting DSPW at GOFAMINT Success Pavilion allowed us to reach young people beyond our core base in Ekiti State, testing whether our model travels, and the response confirmed that it does.
This is only the beginning. If you’re a young person ready to build practical digital skills and start earning online, or an organisation in Lagos or beyond interested in hosting or partnering on a future DSPW: reach out to us here.
